Redundant Ring
- IES8222MPpH-S-DR supports redundant ring and features strong, rapid self-recovery capability to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) into customer’s network to enhance system reliability and uptime in various environments.
- The recovery time could be less than 20ms to quickly bring the network back to normal operation.
- The series is also a good solution for 24hr non-stop operation, providing maximum reliability and productivity.

Energy Savings
- Integrated with advanced green networking technologies and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) protocol.
- The network switch would automatically detect the Ethernet cable length and diminish PoE output depending on IEEE802.3az standard.
Fault Alarm (via electric relay)
- The built-in fault alarm function sends out alert via the electric relay when there’s fault on the network switch.
- It helps measure performance and quickly find out anomalies of the network switch.
